Dear Thiago, > Andrea Perego recommended me Ekiga too. I´ll try to install and configure it on > my laptop and if i have another doubt i request again, ok ? If that doesn't work (I've had problems with Ekiga) you can try Jitsi [1]. Jitsi is an open source project (LGPL) written in Java implementing a SIP phone, several messaging platforms and since 2.6 also a IRC client, so that you theoretically could use it both for the voice connection and IRC (I haven't tried the latter, though...). As my SIP provider, I use getonsip [2] that has a good configuration help for Jitsi.
