Re: Meeting Announcement for SDWWG: 18 February 2015 20:00 GMT

Hello everyone,

A presentation of stSPARQL seems like a good idea to me. And perhaps we
should also take a look at W3C basic geo and the spatial aspects of
schema.org?

All in all, there are a lot of ways of publishing spatial data on the
web. Having complete overviews of all methods could take a lot of time.
I would like to suggest to focus on the things that make each method
stand out. Highlighting the unique aspects of each method (e.g. temporal
capabilities for stSPARQL, simplicity for Basic Geo, standards for
addresses in LOCN,...) should also give us some strong hints about the
requirements that underpin each method. And those requirements could be
carried over to our own collection of requirements...

Regards,
Frans
