Hello All, I mentioned on the call yesterday that I though it might be a good idea to share some ideas of some princples which we all share and which may help to define a common vision for the Best Practice document. These are statements of what we should do rather than how, the how of course will be the main part of the doc. So to start the ball rolling.... Princple No.1 : The linkabilty of Geospatial Information published on the web should be improved. This I feel is the main crux of our work, removing geospatial content from the dark web, and at a approraite level of granularity making such content linkable. Princple No.2 : We will not reinvent We will alway use an exisiting technology/standards/practices rather than event a new one. Feel free to add to these, develop more ... when we reach a level of agreement I will transfer them over to the wiki Ed Ed Parsons Geospatial Technologist, Google Sent from a mobile device, excuse my thumbs..
