Hi all, Although I didn't take an action to review the requirements against the use cases I added, I do have some suggestions for additional requirements. We (Geonovum) are currently reviewing the requirements and trying to add more detail to them (more about this in a separate email). As part of this we also came up with some additional requirements, based on a second reading of all use cases. Additional requirements - Spatial data on the web should be treated as collections of objects instead of opaque datasets (ensues from 'Spatial data on the web should be crawlable' and a lot of UCs). - Spatial data on the web must be usable for non-experts (see e.g. UC-9<https://www.w3.org/2015/spatial/wiki/Working_Use_Cases#Consuming_geographical_data_in_a_web_application_.28Best_Practice.29>, UC- 10<https://www.w3.org/2015/spatial/wiki/Working_Use_Cases#Enabling_publication.2C_discovery_and_analysis_of_spatiotemporal_data_in_the_humanities_.28Best_Practice.2C_Time.29>) - Publishing and maintaining spatial data on the web should be easy for non-experts (see UC-8<https://www.w3.org/2015/spatial/wiki/Working_Use_Cases#Enabling_publication.2C_discovery_and_analysis_of_spatiotemporal_data_in_the_humanities_.28Best_Practice.2C_Time.29>). - The Best Practice must include a list of software matching spatial data requirements (see UC-8<https://www.w3.org/2015/spatial/wiki/Working_Use_Cases#Publishing_geographical_data_.28Best_Practice.29>) - There should be standards for visualisation of spatial data on the web, including 3D (ensues from a lot of UCs) - The best practices should rise above the technicalities and address the organizational aspect of publishing (spatial) data on the web.
