Hi SSN workgroup, In the Netherlands we have a few national monitoring networks, e.g. www.lml.rivm.nl/meetnet/<http://www.lml.rivm.nl/meetnet/> which is monitoring the air quality. On the locations where the air is monitored, there is a small building on which various sensors and actuators are mounted; sensors observing the humidity, temperature, CO2, PM10, and more. These individual sensors on a building, and in fact, all the monitoring locations combined function as a system that determines the air quality in the Netherlands. I'm attempting to fit this network in SOSA/SSN; trying to fit a sensor network in SOSA/SSN. With the DHT22 example<http://w3c.github.io/sdw/ssn/#dht22-description>, I would be inclined to say the entire monitoring network is a sosa:System and the individual monitoring locations are sub-systems with platforms, i.e. the building. Would you say this is the best way to approach this? Could anyone perhaps offer further insight in how to apply SOSA/SSN in this case?
