https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=26986 Bug ID: 26986 Summary: Rename getter and friends to legacygetter and legacyfriends Product: WebAppsWG Version: unspecified Hardware: PC OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: WebIDL Assignee: cam@mcc.id.au Reporter: annevk@annevk.nl QA Contact: public-webapps-bugzilla@w3.org CC: mike@w3.org, public-script-coord@w3.org It seems pretty clear that we do not want to impose proxies on our own objects per se. We should try to align with the standard library. Therefore I recommend we prefix these bits with legacy so people designing APIs have less inclination to sprinkle them around. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
