Request for API design feedback: Web MIDI API

Hi everyone,

We've reached a bit of an impasse in the Audio WG while resolving an API
design issue. We currently only have three people pitching in on the
discussion around the issue and as you all have probably sometimes noticed,
it's hard to get a consensus when there's only three people involved.

If you could lend your eyes to take a look at the issue [1] on GitHub and
possibly comment your opinion, it would be really helpful.
