Adding a new property instead of .name just kicks the can, and proliferates
properties. We have to coordinate on property names now, not values, and users
have to discriminate on two properties instead of one.
How about we use public-script-coord, or just this bug, to come up with a
scheme to use .name? Just "DOM" as a value-string prefix might be enough.
