This is an interesting question because I guess you can assume that all jokes (as opposed to a humour routine or one-liners) have at least a punchline preceded by some other text - but there are some very specific formats : - the standard Q&A type: Q : why did the chicken cross the road ? A : to get to the other side - A very specific format : Step 1 : knock knock Step 2 : who's there ? Step 3 : Art Step 4 : Art who ? Step 5 : R2-D2 - The shaggy dog story - Or even more specific sub-types like the Bar Joke, puns etc they could be defined as AdditionalType or SameAs (or create a jokeontology!): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joke https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knock-knock_joke https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaggy_dog_story https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bar_joke https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pun It could be useful to have a property like FamilySafe with a binary value of 1 or 0 or maybe a text value of "family" or "adult" Then it would be really fun to be able to tweak the SpeakableSpecification to include pauses for effect !
