Re: Quotation in Pending

Sorry Thad -- We'll keep discussion here for now.  Re-reading I understand
this is a wikidata idea rather than your own.  I think excerpt is a good
inclusion, though there may be some uncertainty about what a excerpt
means.  Is it simply a fragment, or a predefined part that might not be
considered fair-use eligible?  Quotations are subject to fair use in
copyright, but not sure about the use-rights of excerpts.  For transcripts
of audio, excerpts would better reflect the possibility of including the
words of more than one person, such as in an interview that has a question
and an answer.

I welcome other perspectives on this.
