Describing things with external subjects

Hi,

what is the correct way to attach a non schema.org subject to a 
resource? By using schema:about?

For example the resource is a schema:TextDigitalDocument is and subject 
is concept https://finto.fi/koko/fi/page/p2791 from KOKO ontology.

Then this is correct?

?resource a schema:TextDigitalDocument .
?resource schema:about <https://finto.fi/koko/fi/page/p2791>
