I've been exploring schema's vocab and learning how to implement it in a useful manner the past weeks. One of the things that stood out for me is that it is very usefull for describing events. It could also assist indexing events of webapges, by decribing realtions between things as title, description ticket information starting time etc. etc.. However I also noticed wen looking at existing examples that the few sites using it for this purpose don't often mark up the datetime. For most events, it is a rather crucial piece of information to know when it takes place. When trying to mark up my own site I ran into a shortcomming, not so much of schema vocab, but in the underlying standard in whcih datetime is presented: iso-8606. There is nothing wrong with iso-8606, but it is very impractical for the purpose of marking up human readable informative pages. Therefore I am looking for assitance, support and feedback in writing a draft which takes human readable datetime formats as its objective, rather than an international group of numbers. Most notably, it would allow for keywords and realtive time reference, such as "tomorrow 6pm". I have included a quick set of examples in the txt attached to this e-mail. Kind regards, Niels Lancel
