Does it have a name? If so, it is ‘significant’. That’s about it really.

Does it help to think this way ?

A Significant - some Thing of importance to someone or some group.
A Significant Other - some Person of importance to another Person.

HistoricalSignificant - some Thing that has historical importance to someone or some group.
