As Timothy Holborn says, you can use schema.org markup to structure the data on your own website, which given your question about the merchant center is presumably an ecommerce site. If you're using Magento it is relatively easy to add the schema.org markup to the Magento theme.


Adding structured data to your website is a completely different process than the merchant center data feed, you can do either or both. For Google Merchant Center specifically I suggest you look at the above link to the Google Merchant Center Help, this is unrelated to schema.org.
