Why redefine the meaning of diet?

Is this a WG related issue or something where the definition has been set
in stone?

Particularly as the namespace says health-lifesci, I would have thought
diet relates more to health, rather than low-fat (perhaps low-nutrient)
dinners or diet soft drink...

Diet has an array of uses.
