I'm well aware there are only few hands around - what I meant was that I'm
more than willing to throw 8 more fingers (all I have to spare, hehe) into
the mix and write a bunch of examples for the things we're discussing right
now.
For me it's more a matter of getting some sort of consensus on / my brain
wrapped around what the best practices would be to describe things like:
- Product listing page - or in schema terms: OfferCatalog on a
CollectionPage
- Categorization vs Hierarchy
- Describing 'Product Family' (which for many is sites is a way of grouping
mainly similar/related products as accurately as possible together, without
having any ProductModel information available)
Once this is clear I'll be more than happy to start writing examples - and
if you lot want I can start either a Wiki or Google doc so you all can
leave comments. Whatever works best is fine with me, though I don't believe
writing these without discussing them at the same time as well will make it
a successful endeavour. Just let me know if you lot are interested in that
and I'll start working on something.
