I've updated the <Generator> <http://schema.pythonanywhere.com/> tool*. 
Because of caching, the default page still shows version 3.0, but Thing 
<http://schema.pythonanywhere.com/Thing> correctly shows version 3.1.

I imagine this will solve itself within 24h.
