If there are more interested in this approach, can I suggest the formation of a community group to discuss and propose enhancements to the Schema.org core vocabulary, or even a potential hosted extension to the vocabulary. As Chair of two (Schema Bib Extend <https://www.w3.org/community/schemabibex/>, Schema Archetypes <https://www.w3.org/community/architypes/>), and participant in others, W3C Community Groups, I would be happy to provide a small amount of help in that. ~Richard Wallis Richard Wallis Founder, Data Liberate http://dataliberate.com Linkedin: http://www.linkedin.com/in/richardwallis Twitter: @rjw On 14 November 2015 at 11:40, Malcolm Croucher < malcolmcrouchermailbox@gmail.com> wrote: > Hi , > > I would like to be involved in this subgroup to please . > > Regards > > Malcolm > > > > > On Fri, Nov 13, 2015 at 11:57 AM, Felipe Santi <fsanti@sismotur.com> > wrote: > >> Hi All, >> >> We are a small company of consultants in the tourism industry focused on >> helping tourist destinations and services to market themselves. >> For that purpose we have recently built a web platform >> <http://www.inventrip.com>, which makes heavy use of tourism categories >> to describe places the tourists can visit or things they can do. >> >> We would like to migrate the existing categories in our platform to >> schema.org <http://schema..org> classes, however that would require >> extending classes (e.g. TouristAttraction) to cover up more detailed use >> cases frequent in the tourism industry. >> >> Therefore, I would like to join any subgroup interested in Tourism, or >> create one with your help if such group does not exist. >> >> Many thanks in advance for your support. >> >> Best, >> Felipe Santi >> sismotur.com >> > >
