Genomic data schema

Hi!

  I would like to contribute schema for describing genomic feature/variation data. Is there a formal schema-submission procedure that I need to follow?

  My current efforts towards describing genomic data with JSON-LD are documented on this web-site: https://www.codamono.com/biointerchange/documentation/#json-reference-cards

  The genomic data description (dubbed GFVO2) is based on previous academic work, which was published here: "GFVO: the Genomic Feature and Variation Ontology” — https://peerj.com/articles/933/

  Some researchers have already expressed their interest in working on this again too, so I think it would be great to have GFVO2 out there in a public forum, because GFVO2 is applicable to all major genomics feature and variation data formats independent of my company’s products.
