Property for linking a thing to a publications list

Hello,

I just opened an issue on GitHub to add a publications property to 
schema.org, see https://github.com/schemaorg/schemaorg/issues/736.

This property could be used to attach a list of bibliographic resources 
– with or without schema.org markup – to the things the bibliographic 
resources originated from or describe.

As far as I can see, it is not yet possible to do this with schema.org, 
or is it?
