Hi all, I would like to provide a brief clarification regarding earlier discussions around ontic categories and their relation to the current Agent Ontology / Agent IDL work. During prior public mailing list discussions, certain ontic categories were introduced as part of exploratory context. These concepts were externally provided and served to help frame the discussion space, but were not intended as adopted components of any emerging specification, nor are they included in this work. Following that, I conducted a review and cleanup of the related repositories (Agent Ontology and Agent IDL) to ensure clear provenance and independence. Any content that could be interpreted as derived from such external inputs has been removed or refactored. As a result. The current Agent Ontology and Agent IDL are independently constructed They do not incorporate or depend on any external ontic classification systems The design remains ontology-agnostic at the runtime and interface level Both repos reverted the commits. This clarification is intended to avoid any confusion regarding alignment, reuse, or implied adoption of external ontological frameworks. Happy to discuss further if helpful.
