There's been some buzz today around a new alpha P2P system called keet: https://keet.io/ Behind the scenes is the hypercore protocol https://hypercore-protocol.org/guides/ It works on the concept of reading and writing to hyperdrives, with commands such as: hyp drive ls hyp drive mkdir hyp drive rmdir hyp drive cat hyp drive put hyp drive rm hyp drive diff hyp drive sync hyp drive http Which allow files to be change locally and over the network, plus ability to attach an HTTP interface Seems to be in early stages, but I have test the keet app which you can download. While it is still in alpha, the group chat, sharing, video chat and screen sharing impressed me quite a bit. Could be a drop in replacement for zoom, telegram, signal, skype, whatsapp at some point in the future. Maybe. Perhaps a protocol to watch for the future.
