W3C is a dynamic environment. Most of the work considered "important" is done by people who are acting as agents, doing work (as an agent) whose life / work activities, are remunerated by a legal personality (W3C member, incorporated entity, etc.). Are there any examples or precedent for how (useful) work done by natural persons is remunerated (re: sustainability factors) for collaborative / cooperative works done, for human kind (our biosphere, etc.)? If not, would any such work to figure that out be considered innovative / R&D for tax purposes, etc.? I principally want to know if there's an existing example that should be referenced. The implicit inference links to "intent", quorum & linked ontological determine factors associated to "future making"... Timothy Holborn.
