Hi All The RWW CG is now 5 years old, this is just a post to wish the group a happy birthday, and to see if there are any questions, concerns ideas about what we are doing, or what we could be doing. Alot has happened in 5 years, particularly the LDP (Linked Data Platform [1]) specification becoming a REC. And that leading on to work in Solid [2]. I realize that both chairs (Andrei Sambra and myself) are fans of Solid, and that tends to be what I post about, but the group is open to all solutions of reading and writing, and making sure writes are trusted. So, I wanted to open up a thread to ask what people would like to focus on. Whether some changes are hoped for. Or just to keep going as we are. I'd be happy to consider thoughts, or if anyone wishes to take more responsibility, or less, or to lead initiatives. My personal view is that I think that participation in the earlier years was heavier, and has become more casual as a sounding board for thoughts, ideas, demos and testing. In particular, the group has not done too much work lately on specifications. My feeling is that as read write solutions start to mature, there will be more room for writing short specs that could be collected in the CG. Another idea is we have a platform for blogging and we could have people blog about ideas and experiences. For my part I try and write a summary each quarter on what I observe. In any case, feel free to share thoughts, now, or at any time in the future (publicly or privately) -- this group is about its members, and what they want it to be -- I hope I can help with that! :) [1] https://www.w3.org/TR/ldp/ [2] https://github.com/solid/solid
