Hi all, I will not be able to attend today's meeting due to travel. A few comments (I couldn't connect to github so I'll include them below): * In the first RSP-QL query proposal (by I Emanuele I believe) there was a proposal to include a separate aggregate clause. We haven't discussed this in the group as far as I'm aware but given that this is a feature that has not been explicitly motivated from an RSP perspective it seems to me that it should be an engine specific extension, or possibly something that should be raised in relation to the development of the next version of SPARQL. * A minor comment regarding the "Requirements and design principles" is that although the DDL primitives are really useful we should motivate them in the section where we currently simply say that we "need" them. It would also be good to mention how (if) we envision a similar syntax for unregistering streams and queries. * When discussing the time aware operators I think it would be good to restate that each triple is timestamped and include a brief explanation of how the timestamp function works in C-SPARQL (esp. when a triple occurs more than once in the current windows) Cheers, Robin Best regards, Robin Keskisärkkä PhD Student [Linköping University] Department 581 83 Linköping Mobile: +46 (0)70 49 09 179 Please visit us at www.liu.se<http://www.liu.se/> From: "Le Phuoc, Danh" <danh.lephuoc@deri.org<mailto:danh.lephuoc@deri.org>> Date: Wednesday 3 February 2016 19:20 To: Jean Paul Calbimonte <jpcalbimonte@delicias.dia.fi.upm.es<mailto:jpcalbimonte@delicias.dia.fi.upm.es>>, "public-rsp@w3.org<mailto:public-rsp@w3.org>" <public-rsp@w3.org<mailto:public-rsp@w3.org>> Subject: Re: RSP call 5.2.2016 Resent-From: <public-rsp@w3.org<mailto:public-rsp@w3.org>> Resent-Date: Wednesday 3 February 2016 19:21 Hi all, I have another telco at the same time, but I’m happy to contribute to the content, please feel free to assign the tasks. We have a scheduled call on Friday at 15:00 CET. As it was done last time, the skype group will be used: https://join.skype.com/nRbgWpxbeloT As it was decided last time we already moved our two drafts to ReSpec template, now on github. The two deliverables are: * RSP Overview document: http://streamreasoning.github.io/RSP-QL/RSP_Requirements_Design_Document/ * RSP model document: http://streamreasoning.github.io/RSP-QL/Abstract%20Syntax%20and%20Semantics%20Document/ In github, this is on the "gh-pages" branch, as it provides a convenient hosting service if it is located on that special branch. For tomorrow, I propose to discuss the general outline, and assign editing tasks by section. Cheers, jp
