[maturity model] Scoring model

Hello.  I have been reviewing the AAM and do not understand hoe scoring is
calculated.  How is the total score calculated?  How are items "not
applicable" factored into scoring?   I have downloaded the excel document
with functions, but some appear to not be implemented and thus I do not
have clear indication of the manner in which the score is being calculated.
