Meeting postponed, and planning for the next few weeks

Dear colleagues,

Due to regrets received in connection with the meeting tomorrow, and in view of the state of our current work, which is progressing well, but which would benefit from more time to complete agreed upon actions - it has been decided to postpone the meeting until Wednesday, 5 September (I would be unavailable for a meeting next week). Meanwhile, pursuant to our agreements at last week’s meeting, we’ll continue to work on, and to discuss the following via the mailing list:

  *   Revision of the draft APA Working Group Note on CAPTCHA
  *   Review of literature relevant to the accessibility of domain-specific notations on the Web, including, but not necessarily confined to music, mathematics and chemistry. The accessibility of scientific and technical graphics is also within the scope of this topic.
  *   Identification of research topics relevant to this Task Force arising from the APA Working Group’s “vertical” relationships.
Accordingly, I propose that at the next meeting, we review changes to the CAPTCHA draft, discuss literature related to the accessibility of domain-specific content, and complete our survey of the APA verticals.
