Dear Colleagues, The Accessible Platform Architectures (APA) Working Group had an engaging meeting with the Web Application Security Working Group during TPAC 2016 in Lisbon, Portugal. I have updated the Research Questions Task Force wiki page on authentication to refer to a paper from the Fido Alliance, the activities of which were noted as relevant during the joint meeting. See https://www.w3.org/WAI/APA/task-forces/research-questions/wiki/Authentication_on_the_Web:_Issue_List You are hereby invited to review, comment on and make changes to this wiki page. According to the current Work Plan, our next task is to identify relevant literature on the subject of accessible authentication. Risk-based authentication (an authentication strategy noted by participants in the Web Application Security Working Group) also merits investigation, as this approach is supported by the specification which they are developing. Work Plan: https://www.w3.org/WAI/APA/task-forces/research-questions/wiki/Work_Plan Comments and contributions are most welcome. ________________________________ This e-mail and any files transmitted with it may contain privileged or confidential information.
