We will need to discuss this at an upcoming telecon. The default will be to stick with the US time change, as this would not require us to reschedule the telecon on the bridge. However, I'm willing to hear other opinions, in particular if people can't make the "new" time for these two weeks. -Chris -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Telecon times March 12-25 Resent-Date: Fri, 02 Feb 2007 13:24:06 +0000 Resent-From: chairs@w3.org Date: Fri, 02 Feb 2007 08:22:39 -0500 From: Ralph R. Swick <swick@w3.org> To: chairs@w3.org Last year the US passed legislation to change the date in March when we "spring forward" our clocks -- i.e. shift from UTC -5 hours to UTC -4 hours. Starting this coming March, the US will be changing its clocks on March 11 -- *two weeks* before Europe. Most of the Zakim teleconferences are scheduled based on US clock time. (Those of you who have based your reservation on another timezone should know who you are.) Please check the teleconference calendar post-March 12 [1] and confirm with your meeting attendees that the times currently specified are what you desire.
