Abstract


An API for allowing web developers to define a custom CSS <image> with javascript, which will respond to style and size changes. See EXPLAINER.

This document was produced by the CSS Working Group (part of the Style Activity) as a Candidate Recommendation. This document is intended to become a W3C Recommendation. This document will remain a Candidate Recommendation at least until 9 October 2018 in order to ensure the opportunity for wide review.
