The whole thread has reached absurd levels already Mark. I'm sitting back now and just ignoring the circular arguments that have been brought forth and answered months ago. Same cast of characters, all who appear to be operating with a confused notion of how the W3C works. Oh well. Can you name the Western companies involved in building surveillance systems that have cost Middle Eastern dissidents their lives? Without Googling it? How many people know about the Wikileaks blocade by credit card companies and Paypal? Basically, no one (to a first approximation) gives the proverbial about this sort of thing. Bread and circuses, that's all the majority of people want. Not that I see these concerns as relevant to the question of whether the W3C should refuse to work on DRM. -- Duncan Bayne ph: +61 420817082 | web: http://duncan-bayne.github.com/ | skype: duncan_bayne I usually check my mail every 24 - 48 hours.
