If EME becomes a standard, would there be a reason to not have the same
functionality for all other HTML elements ?
I don't see why EME/DRM would be acceptable only for ("premium") video
content, if it becomes standard it should logically be extended to
function with any element the publisher wants or needs to
protect/restrict.
What am I mis-understanding ? Is such a thing already in the works ?
