I know that maintaining your DRM platforms is hard and costly. But
after all, you're the one (your company) who has something to win
here. So why not paying for it?
If EME is finally a approved, the outcome is that companies like yours
will save money just to continue selling your stuff to the masses.
What I think is that the less money you have the more restricted you
are. So let all companies like you be restricted for the wellbeing of
humanity.
Your DRM platforms have been completely unrestricted and still are. So
what is going to change?

I am not against honest ways to earn money. Find them and pursue the
goodness and the wellbeing of all the people. Until then... I'll
disagree with your, at least "unfair" ways.
