Whereas might I agree in principle, I think versioning at this point might be too soon and could lead to excessive fragmentation. The RDF/JS community is not that big and there are not that many libraries implementing these interfaces [1].

Furthermore, in my limited experience the best specifications are always the ones that never change or that strive to change as little as possible.
