Here's a copy of Wikimedia's public domain world map, with some RDFa embedded into it: http://ontologi.es/place/map/BlankMap-World6-rdfa.svg Also an N-Triples dump of the data extracted from it: http://ontologi.es/place/map/BlankMap-World6-rdfa.nt And the script used to produce it: http://ontologi.es/place/map/map-annotator.pl.html One could easily imagine adding in other RDFa data such as populations, GDP, etc. Then with the RDFa API and a little Javascript, a web page could apply colour coding to the map based on demographics (i.e. highlight all countries with a per-capita GDP above 20,000 USD.) -- Toby A Inkster <mailto:mail@tobyinkster.co.uk> <http://tobyinkster.co.uk>
