Hello, I just got the opportunity to join the RDF Web Applications group and want to introduce myself and say 'hello' before today's telephone conference. My name is Sebastian Germesin, I am 28 years old and I work as a full- time researcher at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence in Saarbrücken. In my PhD thesis and my research in the EU-funded IKS project (see [3]) I investigate different interaction patterns between users and semantically-enhanced content in the semantic web. I recently finished a demonstration (see [1]) that uses a client-side (Javascript) library for the interaction with semantic entities (VIE^2, see [2]) that I have developed. During my research, I stumbled upon RDFa and got quickly interested. That is why I am very happy to join this group and I hope that I can add valuable input from a technological (but also theoretical) aspect. This is my first W3C working group and I hope not to ask too many silly questions. Best regards and talk to you soon, Sebastian [1] http://iks.dfki.de/screencast/ [2] http://github.com/neogermi/VIE-2 [3] http://www.iks-project.eu -- M.Sc.
