ACTION-31: answering to Jeni

As agreed yesterday, I have drafted a comment to Jeni:

Please, speak up if you have a problem with the answer, otherwise I would send it out this week end.

While we are at it: there are some other comments that we should deal with. I see 

- a pending comment from Doug that has not been dealt with at all and is not editorial
- a comment from Greg that has actually been resolved, but we should answer (I volunteer to do that right away)
- a number of editorial comments where the editors should probably discuss things and provide an answer

(I am just worried to see these comments pile up, and we should have the policy of getting rid of them as soon as possible:-)
