Dear all, First of all, thanks a lot for your effort in this working group! Hereafter some (probably minor) comments about the current draft of RDFa 1.1 Core and my first experiments with it. *** Comments about http://www.w3.org/TR/2010/WD-rdfa-core-20100422/ *** In section 3.10 and at the beginning of section 5, @src is only indicated as a way to indicate a URI object, but later in the document (paragraph 8.1.1.3) the examples use @src as a way to indicate a subject. Maybe it would be useful to clarify @src possible uses. In section 2.2, in the example regarding the definition of an RDFa profile, the example snippet contains <span property="rdfa:uri">http://www.w3.org/1999/02/22-rdf-syntax-ns#</span> Is this correct? Shouldn't it be like the following: <span rel="rdfa:uri" resource="http://www.w3.org/1999/02/22-rdf-syntax-ns#" /> A final comment about the "appearance" of examples in the document. I believe that example numbering would improve readability of the document (and it would ease making references as well...). Moreover, whenever a "wrong" example is given (like the first example in section 8.3.1.3), it would be nice to use a different visual indication (like a different font color for example) to make clear that it is something people should not replicate. *** First experiments with RDFa 1.1 Core *** The current draft is (correctly) explained from the point of view of an RDFa processor that has to extract embedded triples from documents. > From the point of view of the "RDFa user", who wants to embed RDF triples in documents, the process is exactly the opposite. In order to better understand how to embed RDFa annotations in a page, I created some sample files to play with: an RDFa profile document, a plain HTML page, a set of triples to be embedded and the result of embedding the triples in the HTML file by referencing the profile doc (all derived from the examples in the current draft). I put my "experiments" on line at http://iricelino.org/rdfa-1-1-core. I'm not 100% sure that my example is correct, but I thought it could be useful sharing it. Any feedback/correction is of course very welcome.
