Introduction: Ian Davis

Hi all,

I'm Ian Davis and I joined the WG yesterday primarily to help edit the
proposed JSON serialisation. I'm CTO at Talis, based in Bimingham, UK. Talis
is a software company focused entirely on creating applications and services
using the semantic web. I was a member of the GRDDL working group and a long
time ago was on the original RSS 1.0 working group. I'm the (co)author of
several popular RDF vocabularies, created those little foaf faces and have
generally been contributing to the rdf ecosystem for about ten years.

My primary interest in this group is the JSON serialisation. I authored the
Talis RDF/JSON specification with Keith Alexander, also of Talis, a few
years ago. This serialization is used widely in our own products and is
supported by several popular RDF toolkits.

Looking forward to working with new faces and old.
