Teleconference data: (Re: RDF Working Group Meeting Schedule)

Dear all,

first of all, let me also welcome all of you to the Working Group. Here are the missing telco data.

As David said, the telcos will be on Wednesdays, at 11am US Eastern time; that is 16:00 for the UK and Ireland, and 17:00 for (most of) Continental Europe.

We will use the so called "Zakim bridge" at W3C. Here are the dial-in codes:
   Phone US: +1.617.761.6200
   SIP: zakim@voip.w3.org
   Phone UK: +44.203.318.0479
   Phone FR: +33.4.26.46.79.03

Unfortunately, the UK and FR numbers have only a very low number of lines, which may mean you could have difficulties to use them. If possible, you should use the US number or SIP. You will be asked for a conference code, here it is: 73394

The other essential infrastructure that we use during the meetings is IRC. We use our own IRC server, namely irc.w3.org, with the port number 6665. It is also running on port 21, in case your corporate setup blocks the port number 6665. We will use the #rdf-wg channel. [1] gives you some more information on IRC; in case you do not have an IRC client set up yet, [2] gives a good list. If you have difficulties installing a client on your machine, there is also a web based interface set up on our site at http://irc.w3.org/ that you are welcome to use.

I am sure there will be a bunch of practical issues for those of you who are new in a W3C group; do not hesitate to ask on the mailing list for advise. Many of us in this group have been regular users of the W3C infrastructure for many years, so somebody will have the answer to your problem!

Welcome again to all,

Ivan

Teleconferences will take place using the W3C Zakim service by telephone and IRC. I will mail the dial in and IRC details to you shortly.

Please check the scribe list before each teleconference and notify the chairs if you will not be able to fulfill your responsibilities. Thanks to Sandro Hawke for volunteering to scribe the first meeting!

There is a private (non-archived) mailing list for sensitive communications within the working group at [6], but we expect it to be rarely used. Members of the public are encouraged to comment on topics related to working group activities via the public-rdf-comment mailing list [7].
