Good start, Holger! Adding a cc to the data shapes forum - in case some interested parties didn’t sign up for the SHACL CG yet. Should we use the new GitHub repository as the repository of re-usable libraries of SHACL shapes - as suggested by Konrad in https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-rdf-shapes/2017Jul/0007.html <https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-rdf-shapes/2017Jul/0007.html>? For example there was already some discussion on the future direction of the JavaScript extensions - the WG note was primarily intended as a starting point towards a more formal specification in a couple of years. > > If anyone has suggestions/input on other documents, please let me know. I believe I can also grant editing permissions to other CG members. Also welcome are co-editors. > > In terms of CG logistics, we need a chair. Any volunteers would be greatly appreciated - please respond if you could serve as a chair. > > I also understand that CGs can have weekly/bi-weekly meetings. While W3C does not provide telecon infrastructure, there are plenty of open tools for that matter. My personal time zone (Queensland, Australia) may be an obstacle for me to attend many of these meetings. Having said this, it is quite possible that the CG will evolve into a cluster of special interest groups or task forces that meet ad hoc, or collaborate via emails etc. > > With this I hope I have helped to get the ball rolling - as a community effort the outcomes of this CG depend on individual contributions. > > Regards > Holger > >
