That is good news! Glad to see Drupal planning for the future and semantic web.
My personal plea to Buytaert in October 2007 to consider incorporating SW technologies in future releases has paid off.
Still a long way to go though.

In an attempt to make RDF mainstream and to prepare the way for Drupal 7 shipping with built in RDFa, we've put together a screencast [1] advocating the use of RDFa on the web. It uses the existing RDF capabilities of Drupal. This video was shown last week at DrupalCon DC 2009, and today Drupal lead Dries Buytaert blogged about it [2].
