This is just an info...
One area where RDFa is increasingly used is when major subject
hierarchies are encoded into SKOS; and this may not be well known by the
RDFa community, so I just draw attention here. There was a news item on
a such an application on rdfa.info[1], but let me just draw attention on
two similar projects
- The Library of Congress publishes its subject heading ('authorities')
in SKOS[2]. But, if you go to a specific subject directly (eg, Semantic
Web[3]), that page is encoded in RDFa, too.
- There has just been an announcement on the LOD mailing list[4] on the
work _starting_ to do the same for the Dewey Classification Scheme
The combination of SKOS and RDFa seems be a powerful and important
application area!
