Hi Raphaël, Please remove from your slides any association between the IPTC and CURIEs. IPTC standards do not use CURIEs and will not be using CURIEs. The new generation of IPTC standards is based on the use of Qualified Codes (QCodes) which are very different from CURIEs. Confusion between the two doesn't do anyone any good. If you want to know about QCodes, please visit http://www.iptc.org/NAR/ or Google for "iptc qcodes". Many thanks, Misha Wolf News Standards Manager, Reuters Chair, News Metadata Framework WG, IPTC -----Original Message----- From: public-xg-mmsem-request@w3.org [mailto:public-xg-mmsem-request@w3.org] On Behalf Of Raphaël Troncy Sent: 08 May 2007 15:57 To: MMSem-XG Public List Subject: XG Talk during the W3C Advisory Committee Meeting Dear All, I will give the following talk this afternoon during the semi-annual W3C Advisory Committee Meeting in Banff (Canada): Multimedia Semantics XG: Challenges and Opportunities The talk is announced on the main XG page and the slides are available at: http://www.w3.org/2005/Incubator/mmsem/talks/AC2007/ Best regards.
