Next week I'd like to continue where we left off, with brief discussions of some of the more "major" suggested features that impact the query language itself. These include: Assignment Property paths - Andy Aggregates Negation Update Basic Federated Query Parameterized inference/control of inference Could we get volunteers to briefly present these? (I don't actually think we'll get to all of these on the teleconference.) Subsequent weeks I'd like to roughly divide like this (this is unordered): * Other query language suggestions (syntax, new functions, bnode refs, limit by resource, one of, pragmas, CONSTRUCT enhancements) * Protocol extensions (parameters, cost models, cursors, query by reference, return format) * Rest of SPARQL landscape (RDF or XML syntax for queries, service description, query response linking, ...) I know that Bijan, at least, is also interested in proposing something regarding OWL semantics, but I'm not sure what shape that will be so I'm not sure where to put it. :-) As I said on the teleconference, there's _no way_ we'll discuss all of these on the teleconferences. I'd like to re-ask that people take time to read the wiki and to discuss over email as much as possible. When we have some discussion going, we may also have the opportunity to set up supplemental calls to discuss specific topics during the next month. Comments, questions always welcome. Lee
