David Booth spent some time with the JSON-LD group today to talk through
the issues he raised on the mailing list. The JSON-LD group made a
number of resolutions to address his concerns. The resolutions can be
seen here:

http://json-ld.org/minutes/2013-06-11/

They have already been applied to the JSON-LD Syntax spec here:

https://github.com/json-ld/json-ld.org/commit/af300785167283bb45e4a116539d4541751f5e50

and here:

https://github.com/json-ld/json-ld.org/commit/906c628e42fda8f144858200e6df602e065baf4f

The live copy of the editor's draft, which already include the
resolutions made today to address some of David Booth's concerns, can be
found here:

http://json-ld.org/spec/latest/json-ld/

I hope this demonstrates a few things:

1. That David, Peter, Kingsley, and Pat's concerns were more aligned
with the intent of the JSON-LD group than what it seemed like over the
mailing list.
2. That the JSON-LD group is willing and capable of moving quickly to
address concerns raised by all communities, including the RDF and
Semantic Web communities.
3. That finding the right balance is hard, but is made easier when we
spend the time to reach out in good faith.

We still need to address a few more of David Booth's concerns next week,
which we have already allocated telecon time to do. Progress is being
made. :)
