Michael,

I would suggest dropping item 2 (default mapping) for now. I believe syntax
is a higher priority, and given the pressure of having a FWPD out asap, I
think that the conversation should only be about the syntax. Once we have
the FWPD out, then we can go back to talk about the direct mapping.

I'm surprised there hasn't been any discussion on this topic this week.

It seems that we have three proposals on the table. What are we going to do?
Consolidate them in one document? Vote for one?
