Hi all, During the WG call this week I undertook to kick off the horizontal reviews - or at least make a start on this. Two of these are straightforward: accessibility and internationalization. See https://github.com/w3c/rdf-canon/issues/69 (a11y) and https://github.com/w3c/rdf-canon/issues/68 (i18n). I am reasonably confident that RDF c14n does not present any accessibility issues and have said so - we'll hear back from the experts in due course. On i18n, I think we're probably OK too since we can, I hope, rely on the features of the various RDF serialization specs that themselves all handle these issues. Nevertheless, there may be some issues especially around character normalization and lexical sorting. The security and privacy reviews require there to be sections in the spec that cover these. There are placeholders for them but no text yet. It seems that we need to think about those sections before requesting a review. Looking at the self-assessment questionnaire, I don't think we'll have a lot to worry about but you never know... I've opened an issue to track this https://github.com/w3c/rdf-canon/issues/70 The final one is the TAG review which seems to require everything above to have been done, not to mention an explainer document. Well, we can point to the explainer that was used in the chartering process and that I heard myself say out loud once I hoped to be able to develop just a little further into a WG output as a use cases doc. That may have been a foolish thing for me to have said - time will tell. So we're not there yet by any means but I'm clearer on what needs to be done - starting with those two sections in the doc that might, just might, say "this specification does not raise any security or privacy issues".
