-------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: [Moderator Action] https urls for feed validation service should be valid Date: Tue, 25 Aug 2015 08:17:36 +0000 From: Schuyler Duveen <sduveen@nypublicradio.org> To: www-qa@w3.org <www-qa@w3.org> Dear W3C QA dev folks, When I enter: http://www.wnyc.org/feeds/shows/notetoself/ into the Feed Validation Service viewable here: https://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.wnyc.org%2Ffeeds%2Fshows%2Fnotetoself%2F The first error that comes up complains that our image urls are https instead of http. We are trying to move as much infrastructure toward https as possible, which seems to accord with best-practices these days. It seems like the validator should check for regex 'https?://' instead of 'http://'. cheers, Schuyler Duveen | Director of Digital Technology New York Public Radio 160 Varick St., New York, NY 10013 T: 646.829.4422 | M: 646.732.8854| F: 646.829.4191 E: sduveen@nypublicradio.org<mailto:sduveen@nypublicradio.org> WNYC: WNYC.ORG|93.9 FM|AM 820 WQXR: WQXR.ORG|105.9 FM THE GREENE SPACE: THEGREENESPACE.ORG
