Thanks, but I see "W3C Link Checker version 4.8 (c) 1999-2011 W3C" at
bottom of http://validator.w3.org/checklink (it should say "version
4.81" if it's 4.81) - could you recheck?

Hm, I have a mail from you from April 4th 2011 confirming that the
servers were updated to 4.8 (subject "Re: Link checker 4.8 available").
 Was that update rolled back later for some reason?
